This test combines both mechanical and electrical stresses to assess the integrity of a porcelain disc insulator.
Capabilities
- Insulator energized up to 60 kV AC
- Mechanical stress applied while energized
- Mechanical loading applied until rated strength is reached
- Mechanical loading can also be increased until mechanical failure
- Mechanical load levels are recorded for electrical and mechanical failure
